About us

Ron Potok started Reading Rocket after becoming fascinated watching his mother, a career educator, teach his niece how to read. Ron holds a PhD in Physics from Harvard and has more than 15 years of experience building high performance data science products, including, importantly, teaching computers how to read. Though based in New York now, he has spent the majority of his career in Silicon Valley leveraging AI in a variety of industries including consumer lending, agriculture, solar engineering, manufacturing, and most recently, sustainable finance.
